Location & Transportation |

The area of Sintra has much to offer. From sightseeing, mountain biking, trails etc. There are many local markets for you to enjoy and "Cabo da Roca" the most Easterly point in Europe is only a short drive away. There are several beaches within walking distance with great views. | | Directions | From Sintra, follow signs for Colares and beaches ( praias ). Once in Colares, you will see a BP gas station and a small park on your right and a police station on your left, take that road on your left and follow it for around 5 minutes. You will be following the tram line, once in Praia das Macas, carry on until you go past the restaurants on the main road and turn left opposite the supermarket " Camarao". The lodge is at the top of the road on the right hand side. There is a sand road on your right where you can leave your car. | | Transportation | There is a main train and bus line in Sintra, where you can then get a connection to Praia das Macas. Also from Sintra you can take the tram, which will drop you in the town centre. | | Airport | Lisbon Airport is 25 Km away |
